The mission of the Tulare-Kings Dental Society is to further professionalism and success of dentists in our region with a commitment to excellence and high ethical standards. We will perform this mission through programs which promote leadership, continuing education, mentoring, networking, and membership involvement in the community.
The Tulare-Kings Dental Society is one of 32 components of the California Dental Association (CDA). The CDA, in turn, is a constituent of the American Dental Association. CDA dentists have pledged to meet standards of practice and ethics in addition to those required by law.

Latest Information about Dental Assisting Legislation--And Info on 8-Hr. Infection Control Course |
|
3/3/2010: CDA recently clarified with the Dental Board that the new legislation applies to unlicensed dental assistants hired AFTER 1-1-2010 only. DAs hired before that date are exempt from the new legislation. However, when a DA leaves their place of employment and obtains a new position--they are then considered NEW HIRES and would have to complete the new requirements.
For the latest information available regarding implementation of this new legislation that became effective January 1, 2010 CLICK HERE
For a flyer on the New 8-Hour Infection Control Course taught by Leslie Canham, a Dental Board-approved speaker CLICK HERE By special arrangement with the Tulare-Kings Dental Society, Leslie will donate a portion of the proceeds to the Samaritan Center for all members who hire her.
